Shipping & Returns
All orders are shipped by the United States Postal Service.
Each license plate order that we receive is personally crafted when we receive the order. Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days after the order is placed. Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email once the order ships.
Note: We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. Shipping rates for the items we sell are determined by weight.
All orders are shipped by United States Postal Service. Shipping cost vary by the total weight of license plates ordered. The average shipping and handling cost of most orders is $3.95 for USPS First Class shipping. Priority shipping is available for an additional fee.
International Shipping is not currently available.
Most orders are sent by First Class Mail or Priority Mail (when requested) with tracking numbers. If an order was sent with a tracking number, the customer is notified of the number in their shipping confirmation email. To track a package, go to USPS.com and enter the tracking number you were emailed.
If You Do Not Receive Your Order
Please allow two weeks from the time your order is sent to receive it. If after that time and your order still has not arrived, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to determine what the issue is and send you a replacement ASAP. Please note: Most of the past problems with a customer not getting their order has been an error in the shipping address provided by the customer.
We want you to be happy with your license plate purchase and will work with you any way that we can to make sure you get the plates that you want. We cannot be responsible for customer errors made when ordering or improper installation. However it you feel there is any defect in material, quality, or damage during shipping, we do offer a replacement or a refund minus 25% of the order total. Return the license plate to us in the original condition and a refund or replacement will be issued. License plates should be returned within 30 days for refund or exchange.
License Plate Errors
If your license plate order contains an error and you need a replacement we ask that a photograph of the license plate is emailed to us. If the error is made on our end we will replace the license plate free of charge. If the error was made on your end, (for example: misspelled names or words etc.) we will work with you to get it corrected. Tags By Us is not responsible for replacing license plates that contain errors that were not made by Tags By Us. We do not replace license plates that contain customer errors free of charge.
